The Lee County Grief Group

The Lee County Grief Group is a self help support group for bereaved parents and family members to work through their grief with the help of others who have "been there".

We offer hope and understanding to families grieving the death of a child, any age, and from any cause.

The group is open to parents, step-parents, grandparents, siblings and any other family members.  We lend support to each other in the grieving process.

This group has books, articles and
brochures on grief.  We share these in hopes that they may offer some ideas, hope and information on living the "new normal" life that we are walking.

The deep pain that is felt at the death of every friendly soul arises from the feeling that there is in every individual something which is inexpressible, peculiar to him or her alone and is therefore absolutely and irretrievably lost.
